Pleasant Places Inclusive was founded in December 2012 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria. The school was found based on the philosophy that recognizes that children have different needs and as such, learn in different ways. This arose out of the personal experience of its founder and proprietress, Mrs Daisy Jonathan while she sought for a credible school that could meet the academic and developmental needs of her own children.
Having undergone several trainings within and outside Nigeria, Mrs Jonathan proceeded to pull together human and other resources to found a school that is closely knit and has a high standard of education within a caring educational environment.
Pleasant Places is therefore committed to providing an environment where each child can develop and reach his full potentials through the provision of rich, stimulating activities and curricula that would be tailored to the individual child. Emphasis is placed on the development of the total child through identifying and developing his strengths and interests.
At Pleasant places children are treated with warmth, care and respect. The school strongly uphold the rights of a child and recognize that each child is unique and should be exposed to an enabling environment for the development of positive relationships that would facilitate optimum learning and development.
We do not discriminate or exclude any child on the basis of sex, race, and colour, ethnic or national origin. We provide an inclusive environment where equality and diversity is upheld.
